Ceramic teacup from earlier this year.
One of my favourite themes to sketch: the adoration of monsters.
A set of paintings I put up last term for a project called “place”.
32” x 48”
My acrylic Smoke in the Hive painting on display with a beeswax block dipped in honey.
I think I’m addicted to printmaking.
4” x 6” lino cut plate “Come Back to My Labyrinth.”
The carved wood block for my print “Mother Nature’s Son” 30” x 20”I enjoy the plate and the process much more than the actual finished product. It’s like skinny sculpture.
An imaginary man from my sketchbook drawn with my favourite ballpoint pens.
A wood burning on a cedar shake with white acrylic highlights.
I coated the finished piece with coconut oil and the combined smell of the oil and seared cedar is absolutely intoxicating.
"River Eagles" Acrylic on canvas 2013 24” x 24”This painting was for a class assignment where we would illustrate an object that was important to us. I painted the five feathers I found while drifting down the Cowichan River one summer.
